Wylde Center
PLANTING SEEDS OF CHANGE
The ask for the project, I had to spend time walking around Oakhurst neighborhood, talking to people, and finding out what are the challenges
they face. The Wylde Center, a nature center in the Oakhurst neighborhood, wasn't quite reaching its full potential. I saw a chance to use design thinking to improve things. This meant spending time in the neighborhood, talking to people, and figuring out pain points when visiting the center.

OAKHURST + LOCAL
The Grow Local campaign for my project at Wylde Center aims to inform Oakhurst residents about the importance and benefits of locally sourced produce. Through this initiative, we seek to educate the community about sustainable gardening practices, encourage participation in community gardens, and promote the consumption of fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables.
